This week’s quick hits for What It Means:

1) Nice job by Kevin Na bouncing back from the whiff controversy on Saturday (he changed his mind during his downswing, swinging up and over the ball, thus not having the shot count because there was no intent), birding 15-17 on Sunday to win his first PGA Tour event in Las Vegas over the weekend. We’ll see what 2012 brings for him.

2) Nick Watney is having a great year, winning twice and picking up another second place finish on Sunday. I really think 2012 might be his year to win a major. Then again, in this era of parity, who knows.

3) Tiger Woods set the course record at his new home course of Medalist in Jupiter Island over the weekend with a 62. We’ll see how that translates this week at the Frys.com Open.
