A week after beating the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills were the toast of the town, however after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals last week, the Bills are now flying below the radar and weren’t mentioned much on NFL talk shows. That could all change again if they push the Philadelphia Eagles to a 1-4 start this Sunday. I can only imagine the Bills prefer to be off the TV and radio stations so they can prepare properly for this week, perhaps something they didn’t get to do against the Bengals.
I think we need to keep things in perspective; as poorly as they played against the Bengals, they were still in the position to win the game, and they are still in first place. What the Bills have to do this Sunday is put that loss aside and play like they are still undefeated and prove to themselves that they can compete with the best in the league. With that said, are the Eagles the best in the league? Not by a long shot right now. Michael Vick and the self-proclaimed dream team will look to re-bound after giving up a 20 point lead in the 4th quarter against the San Fransisco 49ers. They’ve been known to give up huge plays and I’m sure Buffalo will look to capitalize on those mistakes.
Onto more exciting news! The annual Gordon bus trip will be taking place this weekend and look forward to great time, great food and terrific weather.
I hope to remember more of the game this year, as it should be a good one. Can’t wait!
I will be leaving my prediction to myself from this point on, the reason being that I take Buffalo to win every week so what’s the point!
Dear Michael Vick,
It’s a dog eat dog world, and you’re wearing milk bone underwear!
