The “Underdog” Bills Face Another Giant Test

These underdog Buffalo Bills seeem like they won’t get any respect until they get to the playoffs. Even then, will they? But it seems that’s just how they prefer it. “For us we’re the underdog every week in our minds because nobody wanted us or thought we could do anything this year,” said Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The Bills will be looking to get their 5th win of the year before going into their bye week. For New York, they will want to bounce back from their 36-25 loss to the Seahawks last week.  Every week is another tough challenge for the Bills. Buffalo have already faced and beaten 3 division winners from last year and will go into this week facing another 2010 playoff team.

I kept asking myself last week, “Why aren’t they going deep?” well it’s simple, they had a game plan and stuck to it. Coach Gailey will be looking to exploit the Giants 122 rushing yards allowed on defense and jam Fred Jackson right down their throats just as he did against Philly. As long as Buffalo’s defense can continue their success in the turnover department and keep those yards per play to a minimum they will win another big game.

The loss against Cincinnati in week 4 was exactly what they needed to win against Philly. They learned to hold a lead after half time, they kept their patience when it looked like Vick was going to tie the game and most importantly they won the game. The defense will look to improve on reducing their yards per game allowed but as long Buffalo has more points than their opponents at the end of the day, what does it matter?

No prediction again this week, but I will say this. The Giants have beaten teams that have a total of 2 wins, the Bills…10! Who’s do you think will win?

Not This Time

A little part of me will take much pleasure beating the Giants because of Super Bowl 25. Wide right still haunts me now and then, let’s hope it doesn’t come down to a field goal to win this weeks game.

I wish I was watching the game with every one from last week, but I’ll have to wait a full year. The only thing I can do to keep the memory fresh is to look at pictures, wear the same thing and do 1 beer bong. Miss you all already.
