This Sunday the (1-4) Panthers take their show straight down 85south to meet up with the (2-3) Falcons. Both teams showcase their triumphs at the bottom of the NFC South division. Cam Newton’s first return to his home state as a Professional QB should prove to be exciting! Cam and the Panthers offense are great at putting on a spectacular football game. Fueled with high-flying pass hook-ups to Steve Smith, well-choreographed rushes by DeAngelo and Jonathan, and a side of fancy-footwork from Brandon LaFell the Panthers are quite the show-stoppers! (Since the sarcasm)
The team really brings a fresh excitement to the game and factor in the chilling on-filed relationship of Matt Ryan and the Falcon offense the stats are slightly in favor of a Panther victory. I look forward to the heart stopping passes from Newton to Smith and the orchestration of the Atlanta rushing offense. Both teams’ defense has their work cut out for them. The Panthers D has to force more turn-overs and get more pressure on the QB. Offensively the Panther have to protect the QB and better orchestrate rushing yards. Truth-Be-Told Jeremy Shockey is the Panthers secret weapon and Legedu Naanee is the team’s Achilles.
The team as a whole has to step it up! The defense has to do better with holding their opponent to less than 300 yards in a game and the offense MUST take better care of the ball! Individual performances are not what get games won nor does it increase the chances of a Panther-Post-Season. The only thing it does it put players in Pro-Bowl contention. With that said Team Panthers come back Uptown with a win!
