The Green Bay Packers face the St. Louis Rams who are looking for their first win of the season, while the Packers look to stay undefeated. This game should be a cake walk for the Pack, as the Rams have been one of the biggest disappointments this season so far in the NFL.
Let’s face the facts and the Packers should be able to do whatever they want against this Rams defense. Look for them to come out and play their best game on offense of this season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers should put up ridiculous numbers in the first half of this ball game and look for the Packers to put up lots of points early and often.
While the Packers have questions at the offensive line and defense look for them to be somewhat answered against the lowly Rams. The Packers line will be able to handle the pass rush of the Rams and the defense should be able to shut down the Rams weak passing game, if they can keep running back Steven Jackson in check throughout the game. The Packers run defense has been stout but Jackson is one of four running backs in the NFL to put up 100 yard games against Dom Capers, so look for it to still be a tough test for the Pack.
If the Packers can stop Jackson and keep him from taking control of the game, the Packers will not have an issue beating the Rams. This game is one the Packers should dominate, but that is just on paper. They play the game for a reason.
