Yes, the Oakland Raiders are looking at Vikings QB Donovan McNabb as a possible replacement for the injured Jason Campbell. With Campbell gone for the year with a broken collarbone, the Raiders have Kyle Boller to turn too or better yet rookie nutcase from the Ohio State Buckeyes Terrell Pryor. Not the greatest of options.
The other name on the Raiders list is to sign free agent QB David Garrard who has yet to catch on with any team after being cut just prior to the regular season starting.
So who will it be, McNabb or Garrard? After watching Christian Ponder tonight take snaps under center, one has to think the Vikings will start looking ahead to the future and get the rookie some playing time.
Regardless, the Raiders need a serious plan B moving forward with Campbell gone for the year and personally McNabb and Garrard are solid plans. You can’t trust Boller, he has a a career back-up the last few years for a reason. He can’t be trusted over the long haul. The Raiders are off to a nice start and owe it to their fans to get in a veteran QB in a hurry!!!!

“rookie nutcase”?? Really? That’s all you have to say about a 3 year starter at a top Division 1 school? Weren’t you the same idiot that was talking about Scam Newton, and never retracted one rotten thing said about that gentleman? What a blowhard you are, if you can call a professional athlete such a critique before he’s thrown one snap?

Nope wrong writer, I have never wrote a single column on Cam Newton. But as for Terrell Pryor, he is an absolute jerk…..just look at what he did at OSU in his 3 years in CLB. He caused more problems than good. Once again, another idiot QB that was over-hyped and felt entitled like so many other over-hyped QB’s. What a joke he is!
