Dallas hosts the Rams of St. Louis

There will be lots going on in Arlington, Texas this Sunday with the 2-3 Dallas Cowboys hosting the 0-5 St. Louis Rams and of course the Texas Rangers hosting game-4 of the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Go figure Dallas Cowboys / Texas Rangers VS St. Louis Rams / St. Louis Cardinals. genius. Will be interesting to see how many Cowboys and or Cowboy jerseys are in attendance at the baseball game which will be played shortly after the football game.
I have said it before and will say it again but there is never a guaranteed victory in the NFL, never an easy game for any team but I will say especially the Dallas Cowboys whom everyone plays tough. If there is one thing an opponent wants to say it is we beat the Dallas Cowboys. We’ll the Cowboys are big favourites this Sunday, that means nothing, you go out and play 110% on every play / down, don’t get injured and win the football game. You don’t win football games when you already think you are going to win and if the whole Dallas Cowboys team does not show up on Sunday, it will be a sad post-game blog and a lot of finger pointing.
Now with all that being said I am confident the Cowboys will come out to play on Sunday and come away with the victory. The game will be a huge character game for the Boys, lose and we know what hits the fan, win and the Cowboys are still in he hunt to take the NFC East title which is still very much up for grabs.
There is one thing that can be said about the Dallas Cowboys play this year so far and that is they are playing some exciting football. When they win, it is close and when they have lost it has been close, as said in previous blogs, a couple bounces the Cowboys way and BAM, they are on top of the NFC East but they are not and every game moving forward is going to be an important game if the Cowboys want to see post-season football and it ALL starts this Sunday against the Rams. The motto this weekend is win and win big.
The Cowboys defense will have to continue to play well. St.. Louis has given up a league lead 21 sacks and hopefully the Dallas ‘D’ will add to that statistic (insert Sean Lee and NFL sack leader DeMarcus Ware here).
The Cowboys are going to have to show the Rams and future opponents that they can score in the red-zone as so far this season that has been a huge problem for the Cowboys and no better a day than a date with the Rams to start to get the ball rolling on red-zone points and hopefully of the 6 kind aka TD’s.
Some notes out of Cowboy Nation is RB Felix Jones is likely out which will put a lot of the running plays onto DeMarcus Murray’s shoulders whom I am confident can fill that void well. There are a few injuries on the Dallas ‘O’ line but hopefully with a shift here and there, they will have enough healthy bodies to allow Romo time at the helm and also create gaps for the running game to be successful.
St. Louis might be without starting QB Sam Bradford which will put AJ Feeley at the helm of the Ram offence and I am sure any Dallas fan is loving that but with that being said the Rams did just pick up WR Brandon Lloyd who is a weapon on his own which brings me back to there is never a guarantee win in the NFL.
as always ‘comments’ ‘questions’ ‘concerns’, see ya’all post game…….go Cowboys
