Saints Will Take on the Colts

It has been nearly two years since the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts played each other in the Superbowl. The Colts will travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints in the Mercedes-Benz superdome for Sunday night football.

Last week the Saints lost 26-20 against the Tampa Buccaneers bringing them to a tie for the NFC South division. The Saints also lost their head coach Sean Payton as well. Tight end Jimmy Graham collided with him during the first half of the game causing Payton to break his tibia.

He had to get surgery Monday, and is set to sit in the press box during his recovery. He will have to call plays from there, which is going to be hard.  Payton is knowing for being involved with his players on the sideline.

If anyone knows about losing a leader it is definitely the Colts. They lost their number one player quarterback Peyton Manning. The Colts have yet to be the same since they lost him 19 months ago due to a neck injury. They are currently 0-6, which is the worst start since the beginning of 1997 season.

The Colts streak of nine seasons with 10 or more wins could possibly end this week.  They still have their heads held high, and are ready to take on the Saints. The Saints defense definitely needs to step it up though. They are depending on the offense to get them their win.

New Orleans needs to bounce back from their first loss in the last five games, and have to step up even more without their coach being out there.  Yes, the Colts are 0-6, but the Saints still need to go into the game as if they were playing a team that was 6-0.  Brees need to go out there, and make sure that he does not over turn the ball.

Without their coach being there they will have to depend on each other, and of course the other coaches out there.  Payton will be in the press box, but of course it is not the same as him being on the sideline.  The Colts without Manning just is not the same, but they have to play like a team.  Let us see who can take home the win.  Will it be the 4-2 Saints or the 0-6 Colts?
