For the first time this season the Chiefs are heading into a game as the clear favorite. The winless Dolphins are coming to Arrowhead Stadium as Kansas City is trying to extend its winning streak to five.
The Chiefs showed their heart last week and proved they are going to fight till the very end. The Dolphins on the other hand have not been able to finish off a game this entire season. They had a lead against the Giants this past week, but could not seal the deal.
The battle of the Matts at quarterback has to be favoring Cassel in this game. During their four game winning streak he’s shown signs of greatness and has potential to make a play every time he drops back in the pocket. Matt Moore has not been as spectacular.
He’s been struggling and it’s not the type of struggling that a rookie quarterback goes through. He’s a seasoned player and he just does not look comfortable at all. Granted his line has not been much help, but this guy is still a professional quarterback and he’s not looking the part.
The Chiefs’ defense has been playing great lately and with all the Dolphins’ offensive struggles I don’t see that changing. Romeo Crennel knows what he’s doing and he’ll come up with a plan to try to stop Reggie Bush, who ran for 103 yards on 15 carries last week.
Kansas City has finally gotten back to the basics. They’re running the ball and playing defense. Jackie Battle broke out of his shell last week and scored his first touchdown of the year. I see the Chiefs controlling the ball in this game and taking care of business.
