We’ll the Dallas Cowboys (4-4) came away last Sunday with a victory against the Seattle Seahawks, this Sunday will be more of a test against a Buffalo team that wants to see post-season. Will Dallas be able to still see post-season or are we again going to try and play spoiler and beat teams that have a post-season chance.
Week 10 is upon us, the Cowboys with their favourable schedule are actually still in the hunt for post-season but they will have to show it by being able to beat the good teams in the NFL and not just go back and forth beating the teams they should and than losing to the teams they should be competing against. This Sunday will be another challenge for the Cowboys. Win and they beat a good Buffalo Bills team and show character and grit, lose and the chance of post-season is almost out the window as so far it looks like the only team to make the post-season out of the NFC East is going to be the team that wins the NFC East, I highly doubt there will be a wild-card coming out of the NFC East.
The ‘Boy’s are going to give it a 110% on every play and play a full 60 minutes of football as this game really has close written all over it. Both teams are somewhat similar with their defenses, running games although I give the edge to the Cowboys in the passing game which might be the ultimate deciding factor on who comes out ahead in this game. One key here is I hope the Cowboys coaching staff have been reviewing the Jets / Bills game and how well the Jets threw the ball and hopefully the Cowboys can do the same.
Not sure where the odds makers got such a huge spread on the Cowboys (currently at 5.5) but the Cowboys are at home so that might very well be part of it but I do like the Cowboys this Sunday, will be an exciting game, hopefully some big plays albeit that might backfire as I see both teams coming out running the ball, holding onto time of possession and throwing the ball on a need-to basis. Maybe see some trickery by the Cowboys coaching staff. Special teams, ‘D’ line and DeMarco Murray showing off more of his skills running the ball will hopefully bring the Cowboys to 5-4 come Monday as they prepare for Thanksgiving – gobble gobble.
On an injury note out of Dallas and well there are walking wounded in Dallas Nation, one key player who is likely out of the line-up on Sunday, wide receiver Miles Austin, the only good news that can come out of missing a player like Austin is Dallas has some depth in the WR position but lets hope Austin gets back in uniform soon.
see ya’ll for post-game re-cap and as always comments questions concerns…..
