He’s Back!

Posted By Jonathan Ward On Nov 11 2011 @ 1:21 pm In NHL,Ottawa Senators | No Comments

Up north in Canada it’s remembrance day, a day that we remember all the lost soldiers and honor the war veterans, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country so that today we can live safe and sound and be protected. We are thankful for all we have in today’s life.  Yes we are thankful for Hockey.

As the Rest of the Canadian cities are off doing their War veterans ceremonies and paying their respects. In the nation’s capital, yes the biggest of all ceremonies is taking place, where Citizens walk the streets in red and are loud and proud chanting ALFIE! That’s right, The Captain is back!

#11 is back on the ice tonight on 11/11/11, mark this ALFIE day in Ottawa. The man is not human. Alfredsson who has recently suffered a concussion on a hit to the head by Rangers forward Wojtek Wolski was expected to be out of the lineup for over a month’s time. But after 2 weeks the Man is back and will suit up for the Sens tonight in Buffalo. Alfredsson have fought off every injury he has had in his NHL career, making miraculous comeback each time, putting doctors out of jobs with his quick healing powers. Maybe the reason Canada has a shortage of doctors? Alfredsson is truly a super human; other NHL players still battle their Concussion symptoms, Like Sidney Crosby who has been out for almost a year now. Also Marc Stall who suffered a Concussion from the hands of his Brother Eric Stall of the Carolina hurricanes.Wish those players all the best by the way. [2]But In Sens new 11/11/11 mark’s a great day for SENS fans, Sens have dropped 4 games in a row as of late to the Montreal Canadians, Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres and the New York Rangers, and are now lacking the scoring touch they once had in there 6 game winning streak earlier this month. The Comeback kids haven’t been themselves lately without their captain. Coming up short in Games vs Rangers and Sabres and running out of gas in Boston, which we saw the winning streak come to an end. The Sens are a .500 team lifetime without Superman himself Daniel Alfredsson and cleary plays a leadership role on the team.

So as we all remember the lost one’s one who made the sacrifice for us to live our lives as we do today, we can also notice in history That Daniel Alfredsson dominates The buffalo sabres, and just maybe, the Buffalo sabres will want to forget this day. [3]
