Cowboys flock to Arizona…

I don’t want to jinx the Cowboys but who would of thought weeks ago that the Dallas Cowboys would be sitting atop the NFC East right now with a 7-4 record. Dallas continues to win football games and they will be in charge of their own destiny moving into the playoffs which right now looks good for this years Cowboy squad.
This week the Cowboys will be travelling to Arizona to play the 4-7 Arizona Cardinals. I want to start by saying don’t let the records fool you, 7-4 means nothing and the Cowboys must not take this game or any of their remaining games lightly. With the schedule favoring the Cowboys so far this season, even I will admit as the Cowboy blogger that the Cowboys must still beat the better teams in the NFL if they hope to have any success in the playoffs if they make the playoffs. That comment should take the jinx off–whew!!!!!.
Of late we have to say the Cowboys have been putting together a nice winning streak and outside of the Bills game where the Cowboys led from start to finish most of the games this year have been settled by a TD or less which again means the Cowboys have to play at 110% as those games could of gone the other way.
Cowboys will be led once again by the field marshall himself QB Tony Romo who I will say has been stellar of late by his scrambling, finding receivers and keeping the ball moving past the line of scrimmage – first down Cowboys. The Cowboys defense has played great led by DeMarcus Ware, Sean Lee and if the secondary can just tighten up just a little things will fall into place and this is where I spell turnover, INT.
We’ll Dallas has a great core of wide-receivers, things might get even more busy at the WR position with the potential return of WR Miles Austin albeit in his absence the WR’s and TE Jason Witten have stepped it up so the return of Austin can only help out the receiving corps.
With the New York Giants sitting at 6-5 and one game behind the Cowboys, the Giants play the Green Bay Packers and I still say one game at a time and the Cowboys can only look in the mirror, see themselves and win-win-win and they will have nothing to worry about, lose and don’t think the Giants are going to sit there and do nothing about it, they smell the playoffs as much as the Cowboys do so it will be a fight to the finish line in the NFC East especially with the Cowboys having 2 games against the Giants which might be the maker or breaker en route for one of the these teams playing post-season football this year.
see ya’ll soon and as always comments, questions, concerns
