10 football members in the Big East, that’s the word today coming out of the Big East commissioners office. The big east as contracted to add Boise State, SDSU, SMU, but were unable to secure a bid for Air Force. They are looking to add Temple which could possibly happen soon.
The divisions would look like this:
- Air Force
- Boise State
- San Diego State
- SMU Looking at the way the talent has been, it looks that the West will come out dominate to start its stent in the Big East. San Diego State is on the rise and Boise State has been a established winner the last 10 years, probing it season after season and on the big stage. Houston and SMU have improved and play in the Texas area, and are suited to steal recruits form other Texas schools.
The East will be made up of the usual suspects, no more than 2-3 teams with a +.500 winning percentage.

I am a resident of the Bronco Nation. Like ALL residents of Bronco Natoion, I am a die hard sports fan. When it comes to collegiate sports my heart lies solely with my Boise State (BCS BUSTING) Broncos. I have been a BSU fan since almost the time I knew what college football was, and have followed my BSU Broncos ever since (This all before the Fiesta Bowl Ban Wagon). My love and passion for sports is matched only by the love I have for my son and his mother. I enjoy coaching high school sports, playing basketball, spending time out doors, and visiting with friends and family when I am not working or looking at football box scores, and watching games at the Bronco Stadium or Taco Bell Arena.
