The Washington Redskins have lost 2 key offensive players and they are not due to injuries. Fred Davis and Trent Williams have been suspended by the NFL (without pay) for the last 4 games of the season for abusing the “NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.”
Both players failed drug tests at the beginning of training camp. If they didn’t fail another test during a 30-day grace period (ie get it out of your system) they would have been fine, but they failed another one. Speculation is marijuana.
I’m sorry but if you can’t learn from previous mistakes, then you’re given another warning, then you screw up again, you’re gone. It sucks that these are 2 key players that are key to this offense right now, but they have no chance of playoffs anyway so good riddance.

Written by Mercedes Green
I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
