The Chicago Bulls shot an astounding 43-80 from the floor, 53.8%. This display of shooting made it tough for the Kings to even have a chance, but it ended up being a fairly good game with the final score being the Chicago Bulls 108 and the Sacramento Kings 98. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 19 points and 8 assists and four out of the five starters had double digit point production besides Joakim Noah, who had 9 points. This victory gives the Chicago Bulls their second of the season and this was, so far, their best game offensively of the season.
Derrick Rose did not have to control the game and be the sole person responsible for wheter or not the Bulls won or lost this game because the supporting cast showed up. Of the 108 points scored Rose only had to put up 19 but he did have 8 assists that contributed to a lot more scoring. It is not news that Rose is the Bulls most important player but come playoff time and in tough games he cannot win the entire game himself. Tonight was a display of a complete team effort that the Bulls will need if they want to be a legit contender for the NBA championship.
