Packers keep Flynning

Well, it is safe to say the Green Bay Packers are feeling good about themselves after their 45-42 win over the Detroit Lions.
The Packers played the game with quarterback Matt Flynn as their starter while they gave Aaron Rodgers a rest and still came away with the win. The Pack played the game with most of their backups in the game while giving their star players rests, but Flynn and wide receiver Jordy Nelson came to play for the Packers and helped them come away with the win.
Flynn had a historic day for the Packers throwing for 480 yards and six touchdowns. The first and only Packers player to do so. It would be safe to say the Packers will have seen the last of Flynn in a Packers jersey this season, especially after the performance. He becomes a free agent at the end of the year and already was a highly coveted player before this past Sunday.
After the win against the Lions they have to be feeling great about going into the playoffs. Lions might not feel as great, but the Packers have accomplished what they wanted this season and now will wait to see who they face in two weeks.
