Redskins End Season Last in NFC East

No surprise here. The Redskins were blasted by Vick’s 3 TDs in the 4th quarter to be beaten 34-10. Maybe the Skins would fair better if there were only 3 quarters as they consistently lose steam in the 4th.
What Shanahan has been doing over the last few weeks where it’s clear there were no playoff hopes was to put players in, that normally wouldn’t see any play time in the regular season, so they can have a chance at the roster. This game clearly showed a breakout running back in Evan Royster with 113 yards rushing. Rookie Roy Helu scored a TD but not as a running back, but as a receiver putting up 48 yards receiving. Ryan Torain was cut early last week so with a strong start to the season, you need to be consistent to be on Shanahan’s ground game plan.
So now that the seasons is officially over, the Redskins are 6th from last. The other teams with better draft picks are Rams, Colts, Vikings, Bucs and Browns. They have a great chance of drafting a top QB, which they are in dire need of.
Thankfully last night the Giants beat the Cowboys 31-14, so the Cowboys are out and with the Eagles win, they are in 3rd place. Sweet.
Here are the offensive numbers from yesterday.
