The Ottawa Senators just keep on rolling, and they rolled into Pittsburgh on Tuesday night to faceoff with the beat up penguins. Pens missing star playing such as Sidney Crosby who continues to suffer from Concussion symptoms and its looking like they may not return this season. Jordan Stall sidelined again with what seems to be a knee injured suffered by a hit by New York Rangers forward Mike Rupp. Kris Letang also out of the lineup for some time now, others include Aaron Asham and Paul Martin and you can now add Prospect Simon Despres who was called up from AHL Wilkes-Barre Penguins who hit the board hard and left the game last night. Eric Tangardi also called up from Wilkes-Barre but not contribute offensively.

Chris Neil started the offence going half way in the 1st period then the rest of the team but on a clinic, The Ottawa senators displayed talent last night, every goal scored as a potential high light reel goal. Bobby Butler puts home his 5th goal of the season after receiving a sweep feed from Nick Faligno who has been reacting magic this season. He really is becoming a top notch player that the Sens organizations hoped he would be. Sens would lead 2-0 after 1st period. Jason then comes down the right side of the boards and fakes a slap shot and out waits Craig Johnson and wrap the puck around into the net. Milan Michalek who lead the league in goal before his concussion, finally got himself a goal last night, not a pretty one as the puck bounced off his skate past Craig Johnson. He would then add his 2nd goal of the game in the 3rd period off a pass in the slot from Colin Greening, Greening had 3 assist in the game and continues to move up in the rookie scoring race.

Interesting Facts: Senators 7-1-2  and16 pts in their last 10 games, now sitting in 5th in the Eastern Conference. Since the Kyle Turris Trade, 8-2-3.

Final score Sens 5 and Pens 1, the Ottawa senators now travel to MSG in New York on Thursday as they will face off with the number one team in the East, the rangers. Sens will practice outside on Wednesday in Central park. This game will be a test for the Senators
