Derrick Rose missed yet another game do to his back injury but that did not keep the Bulls from putting up 121 points and picking up the 121-115 victory over the Sacramento Kings. The Bulls had 4 starters with double digit point productions led by Luol Deng who had 23 points and 11 assists and Joakim Noah who added 22 points and 11 rebounds. The Bulls had a major defensive lapse surrendering 115 points to the Kings but that did not keep the Bulls from picking up the victory. The Bulls once again got strong play from role players off of the bench with Kyle Korver and Taj Gibson contributing 33 points combined.
The Bulls improved to 24-7 on the year and continue to do well in the absence of Derrick Rose. The Bulls success without Rose does not mean that they are better off without him it just means that they have a solid team and it is mostly contributed to their defense asides from the occasional lapse, like tonight. Rose is going to have to come back healthy if the Bulls want to have a real shot at winning the NBA Championship.
