Denver loses 3 straight but Monday pull out a close win against the Timberwolves, which is much needed considering their last three games this month are against L.A. Clippers, San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trailblazers. All three teams are in the Western Conference and above .500, of those teams only the Trailblazers are behind the Nuggets in standings but are only one game back. For the Nuggets to beat the Clippers tonight, Ty Lawson/Andre Miller will need to put alot of pressure on Chris Paul; if Paul has trouble shooting and getting the ball around to Blake Griffin and Caron Butler the Nuggets could come away with a win. Nuggets could also put Corey Brewer on Chris Paul being he can guard the PG spot just as good as anyone else on this team and he has considerable size over Paul. Now the big news in Denver is that Wilson Chandler was in Denver watching the Minnesota Timberwolves game. Chandler played for the Nuggets last year after being traded there from New York, he has been playing in China since the lockout and is now a free agent who says he likes being in Denver and hopes to have a contract worked out soon. Wilson Chandler could easy be the missing piece to this Nuggets team, espcially on the offensive side. Last season Chandler averged over 15 points and almost 6 rebounds a game. The only player that averages over 15 points this year is Danilo Gallinari who is having a career high year in points.
