It’s also not just Andy’s track record. Several coaches, GM’s, and few owners haven’t taken a LB in the 1st round since 1979 with Jerry Robinson.

Andy is and always will be in love with lineman on either side of the ball.

Morris Claiborne is good and loved watching him at LSU but is a press & man corner. That does’t fill well into the cover 2 scheme that Minnesota runs.

You’d be asking him right out of the gates to play a style that doesn’t fit his game.

TB did sign Eric Wright back in mid March. Of course, Ronde Barber isn’t getting any younger as you know so that’s an area the Bucs have some concern. And you’re right about Talib and his troubles. Those words go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. The perfect draft for the Bucs is Claiborne sitting there. After all they are in the same division as Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, and Cam Newton so adding another corner would be a smart move.

I think everyone is expecting the Pats to pull the trigger on a trade. Death, Taxes, and the Patriots making a trade during the draft.

I expect the Patriots to trade also, but for mocks I leave that confusion out lol. And Bucs would very well take Kalil if the Vikings take Claiborne. Also very very likely that the Vikings take Kalil leaving Claiborne for the Bucs. If my scenario plays out however, I can see the Bucs reaching for Gilmore. Concerned with Talib’s legal trouble and need a replacement. But your could very well be right!

I’ll be very surprised if the Patriots don’t make a trade. We all know that has been their trademark when it comes to the draft.

A little high for Gilmore. If the Vikings do nab Claiborne, I think TB will take Kalil. If the Vikings select Kalil, TB will be all over Claiborne. You got all that? I’m not sure if I do. lol.

I’m also a big fan of Luke Kuechly. He’s a tackling machine and can flat out play football. A throwback!
