Ray Allen came back for game 3 tonight and played effectively for the Celtics but one wonders how it’ll effect the Celtics long term. Bone spurs don’t go away over time, they go away with surgery. Do the Celtics need Allen to win? What happens if he gets hurt and has to miss a 2nd round series? These are questions everyone should be asking after this game and hopefully Doc and the rest of the Celtics can find a way to help keep him healthy and availble for future games while getting adequate rest to fight through the bone spurs until he gets surgery. Check back later tonight for game 3 analysis. In the mean time comment below and leave your opinion on what you would do as a coach and one of your core players needs surgery/rest but you need him for playoff action too. All the best and Go Celtics!!
