I didn’t think for one instant that the Angels would sweep the Rangers, and they didn’t.
It was a fun game, if you’re a Rangers fan.
I’m just glad the Angels weren’t no hit. Matt Harrison held the Angels hitless into the 5th inning.
Mike Trout continues to hit everyone. 2 more hits for the budding Halos star.
Let’s see, John Hester did his first home run as an Angel.
Pretty much it for the Halos, who dropped the finale to Texas 7-3.
If you asked the Angels if they would be happy with winning 4 of 6 against the Yankees and Rangers they would have jumped at it.
If you asked them if they expected to get beat up by the Mariners, they would have laughed at you.
They did, though. Ervin Santana took a walk on the wild side to help them on their way. Santana walked 6 batters in just over 4 innings. Angels lost game 1 to the M’s 8-6.
Santana walked the bases loaded in the 3rd, which directly led to 2 runs. He came back to walk a couple more in the 5th, which also eventually crossed the plate.
Couple bright spots for the Halos. Kendrys Morales, who jacked 2 out. Man, that guy can hit. So can Trout, who picked up another 4 hits, raising his average to .338.
Albert Pujols is in a little slump, going 0 for his last 10.
Mark Trumbo is also slumping. He is 1 for his last 16, with 7 strike outs.
Let’s hope the Angels can come back and take the final 2 on this home stand. 6-3 sounds a lot better than 4-5, or 5-4

O'kay I'll talk about myself a little. I've been working in the television/radio industry for over 21 years. I started at 2 so I am just a tad over 21 (That is a joke). My career has taken me around and and even out of the United States. Right now I call Vegas home, but I just never know where life will take me next. Until 2002 my irrational love for the California/Anaheim/LAA had taken me down some very dark roads, but with Arte Moreno in charge I finally saw the a light at the end of the road. I really love most every sports and having as much fun as possible.
