There was some worry among Ravens fans on Monday, July 16th on whether or not they would reach a deal with their franchise player, Ray Rice. Luckily, before the deadline at 4 pm they reached a deal, and not a moment too early. Rice signed a five year contract with a rumor of $24 million over his first two seasons and $40 million overall.
Rice being one of the best running backs in the league and in Raven’s history is well deserving. He is staying positive and seems excited to get back out on the field with his teammates on July 25, the official start to camp.
