Yes it’s only preseason, but I am so incredibly excited to see RG3 and how he will affect the Redskins offense. RG3 was immediately pegged as the Redskins’ starting quarterback after being drafted in April and he will play tonight against the Buffalo Bills. Game time is 7PM.
Griffin has let it slip that he doesn’t want to get hit tonight and the Bills’ rookie Mario Williams has “already warned Griffin that he’s
looking forward to going after him.” I wouldn’t want my star QB out there long with newbies trying to protect him and
gun for him but you gotta get your feet wet sooner or later.
So RG3 is the obvious guy to watch, but they have another rookie QB that will also
see some play tonight and that’s Kirk Cousins. It’ll be interesting to see what they do with the run game too. Last year saw multiple players with great games, but was short lived due to injury or a fluke. The defense is solid and they will be a force to be reckoned with. No doubt about that.
Due to the Olympics, NBC isn’t televising the game, but it will be shown on “NBC Nonstop” and Comcast Sportsnet for all you lucky fans in the US. Up here in Canada, I’ll probably have to stream it.
One fantastic thing that came in the mail yesterday were my Home Opener tickets for the September 23rd game. Section
140, row 4! Cannot wait! These game tickets have DeAngelo Hall on them.

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
