For those of you out there who are still Brandon Jacob fans, he was hit in the knee Saturday night during the 49ers preseason game against the Houston Texans. Jacobs remained on the ground following the direct hit to his knee from Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson.
Jacobs was assessed on the field and later helped off to the sideline where he was further examined by team doctors. He was later carted off the field to the 49ers’ locker room.
Jacobs came to San Francisco to continue his career with the 49ers after playing for the Giants for seven years.
