I guess I’m not surprised that Shawne Merriman was released today from Buffalo. In 2 years he only started 5 games and recorded 1 sack. He claimed at the beginning of training camp that he felt great and that his speed had returned but my guess is that with the history with injuries and lack of production in the 2 preseason games led to his release.
I was looking forward to seeing what he could do this season but ultimately this is probably best for the Bills and now leaves room for Kyle Moore who is younger and bigger than Merriman.
Is this the end for Merriman? What do you think?
