I will post weekly Saturday match-ups for those folks who like to bet a bit. I am doing a Thursday and Saturday one this week for opening week of College Football. What a great time of year it is with football firing up!
The Cougars are notoriously a slow starting team and just don’t blow out many teams let alone win by double digits. Lets face it Mike Leach can sling it around with the best of the offensive coaches in CFB today. He brings a great resume and will instill a winning attitude in Pullman. I think WSU probably loses this game but it goes down to the wire as WSU fights tooth and nail to the finish on this one. Love this play.
Just far too many points for a road team to cover against an Akron team that has assembled a pretty solid coaching staff from Terry Bowden as HC to Chuck Amato as DC, to Jeff Bowden and Terrell Buckley. This Zips team has literally some of the best football facilities in the country and you will see the kids benefit from the coaching staff in place.A little more on the Akron game. QB Dalton Williams for Akron a transfer from Stephen F. Austin worked in the no huddle offense and Bowden is going to be doing the same thing. UCF will be kept off balance by this and those points look more juicier!
Both teams breaking in new QB’s. This line has dropped 1.5 points the last day or so and I really think the sharp side is on UMass in this one. Money came in all week on UConn and now the line is dropping. Makes you wonder.
I think UCLA blows out Rice and that the Owls struggle to score. UCLA will go wire to wire in Mora’s first game as he looks to come out of the gate with confidence for his young team. Bruins should run the ball and control the clock. Way too many points for this total. New offense and all new coaches on the UCLA side means an adjustment period.
They are the better team bar none here. Ball St. is terrible on defense and EMU returns a bunch of starters. Underdog has prevailed in the last 3 meetings of this series.
Friday play -
BSU has lost a ton of talent the last 2 years and now start a young QB. Chris Peterson has always coached up his players. Making 2 or 3 star players into bonafide All-Americans. But this year he has one hell of a young team on his hands and I truly believe it will be too much to overcome. Couple that with a stingy MSU defense and I am all over the Spartans. I wish MSU had a more experienced QB but in this case MSU still has some nice returning weapons on offense.
Good Luck Everyone!
