It has been rumored for some time that if the New York Giants waived wide receiver David Douglas, the Dallas Cowboys would be interested in him. Fortunately for the Giants that did not happen. Fan favorite David Douglas had a tremendous preseason and shined during training camp. Douglas and many other players cleared waivers and were invited to join the Giants’ practice squad this season.
Douglas is joined by tight end Larry Donnell, defensive back Laron Scott, offensive lineman Matt McCants, Selvish Capers and Stephan Goodin, and defensive ends Craig Marshall and Matt Broha. Matt Broha drew interest from other team but opted to stay with the Giants because he felt comfortable.
