The Green Bay Packers had a horrendous end to their season last year as they were eliminated from the NFL Playoffs by the soon to be Super Bowl Champions New York Giants. Today marks the day for the Packers to start their quest back to the Super Bowl as they will face the San Francisco 49ers.
The keys to the game come down to both defenses, can they stop the other teams offense. This may seem extremely obvious, but it is true.
The Packers offense is high powered and capable of putting up tons of points. The 49ers have a stout defense and something has to give there. The Packers offense should still be able to put up points even against them, because they are able to score on anyone.
While the defense for the 49ers is going to be solid, the Packers defense is a complete question mark. They have added multiple players and didn’t lose any starters. The Packers defense can’t be as bad as it was last year, so look for improvements.
The Packers and 49ers is the best game on paper, and I believe it will be on the field as well. Who wins? The Packers pull out the win with a 34-27 win that comes down to the wire.
