Packers look to bounce back versus Bears

The Green Bay Packers are back in action tonight against their rivals the Chicago Bears. When these two teams play their records do not matter. The game is rarely a blow out and is always close, so do not expect much to change tonight.
The Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has already been trash talking about how the Packers secondary needs “good luck” tonight against the new look offense of the Bears. He may have a good point, especially with the Packers continually starting defensive back Jarrett Bush. Add in the lack of pass rush outside of linebacker Clay Matthews and Cutler may be in line for a big day. Now does this mean it will happen, no, it is not a sure thing, but it is likely.
While Cutler may have a big night, expect much of the same from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers was “slowed down” last week but still put up good numbers and the Bears defense is not as good as San Fransisco’s. Rodgers is poised to have a big day, especially since all we’ve heard about in the media is how the Packers recent woes are his fault, which is completely ridiculous. Rodgers has been doing more than enough for the Packers to win, it is up to this young defense to finally step up and make plays.
The key player in this game for the Packers is defensive back Charles Woodson. The guy has been around a long time and someone on the defense needs to step up and start making plays and creating turnovers. Woodson always seems to find a way to make things happen when his teams needs him most. Expect big things from him tonight as the Packers need a strong showing to silence all critics.
This game is going to be close and it is going to come down to the last five minutes. The Packers are going to get the win tonight in Lambeau. Rodgers is going to come out and get the offense in a rhythm early. The Bears and Packers will battle back and forth, but the Bears have troubles winning in Lambeau and do not expect it to change. Packers beat the Bears 38-34.
