The Silver and Black about to drown in South Beach!!

Blistering Heat, Rays of Sunshine, Black Jerseys will be coming to a theater near you, as the Miami Dolphins play host to the Oakland Raiders..

The Raiders are coming off playing on Monday night, in a loss to the Chargers. The Dolphins got beat by the Texans in Ryan Tannehill’s debut..

In case, you have had too much sunshine, Tannehill’s debut was unsuccessful. 20-36, 219 yards, 3INT’s (all in a span of 7 minutes and 23 seconds of the 1st half). He had 2 of those INT’s batted at the line of scrimmage.

Tannehill knows what he has to do. He knows he can’t stare his receivers down, and also knows he has to throw the ball with better accuracy. OC Mike Sherman has to open the playbook for him. Let him move around and take shots down field early and often. They didn’t do that against the Texans. They took 1 shot late in the game and it was successful (34 yards to Hartline).

He needs some serious production from wideouts. 9 catches between Bess, Hartline, Armstrong, and Nanaee. Pitiful!!! Hopefully, the coaches will play Rookie WR Rishard Matthews (the most productive receiver in preseason), and Rookie RB Lamar Miller. They need a spark offensively in a big way. Reggie Bush played great in the 1st game, and hopefully they will give him the ball and he can run it down the Raiders’ throat. They need to score inside the red zone. 3 trips last week and all doughnuts. Anytime you are in the zone, you got to get points.

The Dolphins have beaten the Raiders 3 straight times, but they still are not a push over. Even though they are expected to lose, they will go swinging. They have star runningback Darren McFadden, who can run and catch. Karlos Dansby and co., need to be aware of him, when he is out in the open field. QB Carson Palmer can still throw with the best of them.

If the Raiders paid any attention to last week’s Dolphins’ game, they should read what  DE J.J. Watt of the Texans, who reaked havoc of the Dolphins last week said, “He knew Tannehill’s snap count from watching Hard Knocks and the preseason.” http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2012/09/texans_picked_up_dolphins_snap.php [1]

Hopefully, the Dolphins fixed that problem.

I believe that the Dolphins will get their 1st win by a score of 27-10 over the Raiders. Tannehill has a great game: 25-32, 270 yards, 2TD’s. Bush does his thing: 100 yards on 20 carries, a TD. Also, catches 5 balls for 45 yards.
