Coming off 2 wins, the LSU Tigers return to Death Valley to play the Idaho Vandals in what should be nothing short of a blowout win. In LSU’s last two games, they have won by a combined score of 82-17. LSU’s deadly rushing attack is a two-headed snake no team would like to face. With junior RB Alfred Blue and sophomore RB Kenny Hilliard combining for 411 yards on the ground in two games. LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger passed for 387 yards with 2 TD’s and 1 interception in the last two games, and with the Vandals defense ranked 51st in points against, Mettenberger’s numbers should take a big climb.
LSU should be in full swing against Idaho tonight with their conference opener against Auburn next week. Look for some good returns tonight from sophomore WR Odell Beckham Jr., who has one punt return for a TD (and one that was called back on penalty) and has the ability to break free and take it to the house.
Idaho is 0-2 and, if I was a betting man, they will be 0-3 after tonights game against LSU. Sorry Idaho fans but playing against LSU in Death Valley at night is one of the hardest things a team will ever do.
