Jacksonville opens up its home campaign against division rival and a pick to make it to the Super Bowl, Houston. Houston’s defense may be just as strong as it’s much ballyhooed offense, and today’s affair could be a defensive highlight reel instead of a shootout.
Of course, with the new rules which encourage more offense, both teams should top 300 overall yards today, and I can see Jacksonville getting the final chance to win the game. And since Jacksonville usually plays to the level of their competition, they should come out in rare form, especially for the first ever home opener for bold new owner Shahid Kahn.
Jacksonville 27, Houston 21.
