The Ravens will face the New England Patriots on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore at 8:20 pm EDT. Here’s a few things to look for in week 3:
- Watch for the Raven’s secondary to have a better game than last week. This will be two weeks in a row for the defense to take on an elite quarterback, and after allowing 371 passing yards last week, look for the Raven’s secondary to make a statement. One thing that will help the secondary is the Raven’s defensive line getting pressure on Tom Brady. Paul Kruger will be out of the game with a back injury, so look for second round draft pick Courtney Upshaw to get more reps this week.
- Last week, most of the Raven’s passing yards went to the backfield and the tight ends. Look out for the receiving core to step up their performance and see some more action. Michael Oher will also be out for the Raven’s and Bryant McKinnie will most likely fill in. Watch Flacco’s blindside, hopefully no fumbles from pressure will occur this week.
- Watch for Sam Koch (P) to continue to help the Raven’s win the battle of hidden yards on the punt team. He has proven himself as a valuable asset for the Raven’s over the years. Look for big plays on the Raven’s kickoff return team. Rookie Deonte Thompson is a big play threat on kickoff return.
