For Les Miles and the LSU fighting Tigers, their first SEC opponent comes in the form of a National Championship team 2 years ago, now a team surviving a scare from UL-Monroe, the Auburn Tigers. From Jordan-Hare stadium in Auburn, Alabama, LSU comes in looking to continue dominance in all forms of the game. Outscoring opponents 145-31 in the their first 3 games, LSU looks just as good as any team in college football. LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger has completed more than half of his passes thrown 15 yards or more in the last 3 games. LSU will be without RB Alfred Blue tonight, as he is still ailing from a knee injury so most of the carries will be from RB Kenny Hilliard who is averaging 8.2 yards a carry and has 6 TD’s on the ground on the season, so far. The LSU offense should be on fire and light up the scoreboard tonight as Auburn’s defense is ranked 80th in the country, letting teams average 27.3 points a game.
My prediction for the game is 45-10, LSU.
