Wisconsin, having replaced the offensive line coach after their second game, today they will start redshirt freshman QB Joel Stave over transfer QB Danny O’Brien who has turned the ball over too many times.
Stave will benefit from the return of WR Jared Abbrederis from a chest injury, WI’s only deep threat. Wisconsin’s numbers so far this season have been bad if not terrible for WI standards, 116th nationally in total offense and 113th in scoring.
UTEP kept up with Oklahoma in week 1 before being outscored 14-0 in the 4th quarter. Look for UTEP to push WI, this should be a good game.
