Last night’s game in Baltimore was a dogfight.Both teams struggled but the Ravens came up on top. Here’s an overview of what happened:
The Raven’s defense held Weeden to 320 yards, no touchdowns and 1 interception. Lardarius Webb led the team with 6 tackles and Cary Williams had an explosive 63 yard interception returned for a touchdown.
Joe Flacco played well last night, showing off some of his versatility. He completed 28 of his 48 passes for 356 yards in the air. Boldin, Smith, and Rice were the primary targets, combining for 23 completions between the 3 of them. Boldin tallied up 131 yards. Ray Rice rushed for 49 yards on 18 carries.
Long Snapper Morgan Cox had a bad night. His wide left field goal snap resulted in a failed kick attempt. Holder Sam Koch could not get the snap down so that Tucker could kick it. The specialist did manage to get a field goal off later in the game, Tucker hit from 45.
