Good news for Badger fans, Senior running back Montee Ball has been cleared to play against Nebraska after suffering a mild concussion in the first quarter of last week game against UTEP.
Last year, WI had an easy time beating the then undefeated Nebraska 48-17. Montee Ball had 151 yards rushing and 4 TD’s all while Taylor Martinez threw a career high 3 interceptions within a 6 minute span.
This will be QB Joel Stave’s second start after taking over for Danny O’Brien in the second half of WI’s 16-14 win on Sept 15. Look for him to try and find Jared Abbrederis to get the passing game going, they connected last week for a score.
Nebraska at 3-1 will try and shore up some holes in the defense. Against UCLA, their only big conference opponent so far this year they gave up 635 yards of total offense, second most in school history, losing 36-30 on Sept 8.
Game will be played at 8 ET, on ABC in Lincoln, NE.
