Badgers – Illinois Post Game Review

Posted By Jeff Heimerl On Oct 7 2012 @ 12:44 pm In Wisconsin | No Comments

The Badgers bounced back from some early season blunders to beat Illinois 31-14 on Saturday. The offense looked better than it has the previous weeks of the season.

QB Joel Stave got the offense going with 254 yards in the air, 2 scores and a pick. On the ground Montee Ball got it going with 19 carries for 116 yards rushing and 2 scores. The passing was productive with Jared Abbrederis having 7 catches for 117 yards and 1 score.

Illinois’s struggles continued on offense again on Saturday, with one of the only positives ┬ábeing QB Nathan Scheelhaase. He passed for 178 yards and rushed for another 84, scoring twice, one on a 5 yard run and another 8 yard pass to Ryan Lankford.
