The Rams are on a role, winning their last 2 games with stern defense and a cautious offense. And another stern defensive effort is what the Rams are going to need, if they plan on stopping the revamped Reggie Bush and that Miami Dolphin offense. Reggie Bush is rolling and Steven Jackson has had a couple of days extra rest coming of last weeks, Thursday night football game. This weeks match-up is all about the running backs. Jackson vs Bush.
The star power in the secondary for both teams and the elevated play by both teams pass coverage, is going to make it hard to throw the ball Sunday. The Rams are going to need Steven Jackson to pound, pound, pound that ball. Get it to the third level and force the defensive backs of the Dolphins to tackle. The Rams need to tire out the skill players on that defense , then attack them threw the air. Defensively the Rams need to keep Reggie Bush bottled up. Bush will be the fastest player on the field and he is explosive. At any given moment he can hit a home run and take your spirits away. Every chance the Rams defense gets, they need to hit Bush and hit him hard. By stopping the run, the Rams will force Dolphin rookie QB Ryan Tannehill to throw the ball. The Dolphins receiving core is on par with the Rams receiving core and that’s not saying much. Look for the Rams secondary to shut down the Dolphin receivers and make big plays.
Sam Bradford should out perform Ryan Tannehill, which would absolutely assure the Rams a victory. Its not a winning streak until you can make it three in a row. The Rams win a grind it out game this week against the Dolphins 17-10.
