The Badgers have managed to win their second Big Ten game in row, good news considering their less than desirable start to the season.
Montee Ball ran for a career high247 yards and 3 TD’s. That was all part of WI’s impressive 467 total rushing yards. Montee’s three scores pushes his all time TD total to 72 and sets the Big Ten touchdown record and moves him past Taurean Henderson to third on the NCAA all time record.
Purdue used three different quarterbacks with little success. All three combined to go 9 of 30 for 124 yards and were sacked 5 times. It didn’t start that bad though for Purdue. Akeem Hunt, returned the opening kick 44 yards and then starting QB Caleb TerBush hit Antavian Edison for a 52 yard score to put the Boilermakers up 7-0 38 seconds into the game.
