The secondary did it again and let a sub sub par QB look like Steve Young. But let’s go back to my last post. Was their secondary totally abysmal? No, instead it was just below subpar, so they managed to squeak out the win.
I think all of us New England fans knew it was going to be a special day when the Pats cam back in their throwback jerseys. They seem to have special powers in them that make them invisible. (They have never lost at home with them on). Gronkowski had two TDs, the game tying and the game winning. Devin McCourtney had a 104 yard TD run. Also the Patriots had a safety. That is right they brought the Jets down in their own end zone and the Pats have not done that since 2006. They were close to breaking a record for most games without a safety, but now that is all over.
All around, offensively everyone had a good game, except Brandon Lloyd. He dropped a pass that hit him in the chest and I do not believe he recorded a reception. Come on Pats, go get the WR that could bring you to the Super Bowl! That is the final piece of the puzzle!
This game was way to close for me, but now the Pats stand alone at the top of their division, after the Bills lost to the Titans. And a close solid win was needed for the Pats. They have been losing all the close one’s as of late. I think that the Pats are going to go on a long run. Get ready for some fun!
