The defense of the Rams have been a very bright spot in this rebuilding year of the team. Jeff Fisher has done a remarkable job thus far, in managing the Rams and making them a competitive football team again. This Sundays game in London will be a great opportunity for the Rams defense to show case their talents against, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The Rams defense had a hard time sustaining the pressure on Aaron Rogers last Sunday and it cost them big time. Tom Brady is just as savvy if not better than Aaron Rogers in the pocket, but not even close to being as mobile as Rogers. The front line of the defense has to come up big on Sunday. They must put the pressure on Brady and force him out of rhythm and disturb his timing with his versatile receivers.
Offensively the Rams must get it rolling and what better team to get in rolling against. The Patriots have a stern running defense but are ranked 23rd in total defense and 29th in passing defense. Sam Bradford and the Rams receiving core must catch fire on Sunday. The Patriots defense will give up the yards and the points, allowing 23 points a game. If the Rams can get that running game going just a little bit and soften up that Patriots front line, the passing game will flourish. Every good team has a hiccup and this Sunday just might be the Patriots hiccup. The Rams will upset the Patriots Sunday in London and the bridges will come falling down.
