Packers offense shakey in win

The Green Bay Packers came away with the win this past Sunday, and while it was not pretty, it is a win.

The Packers offense struggled mightily against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense and while they should have dominated them on paper, it is the reason they play the game.

With the Packers offense slumping and Aaron Rodgers looking like a quarterback who missed his top to wide receivers in Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson, the defense and special teams had to step up and they did.

The biggest play of the game came from defensive back Davon House who blocked a Jaguars punt which eventually was recovered in the endzone by Dezman Moses. The block was critical in giving the Packers a two score cushion which helped them hold off the Jaguars.

There is not much to really take from this game from the way I see things. It was nice to see the defense win the game for the Packers again this season, but they played uninspired football because they knew who they were playing was a team who is inferior. You still need to question whether the injuries are taking a toll on the Packers and if they can bounce back and regain their focus to get to 6-3 against the Arizona Cardinals before heading into their bye week.
