After Houston destroyed the Baltimore Ravens they had their bye week. The established themselves as the best team in the AFC and now have to face the Buffalo Bills. This match-up heavily favors the Texans and this one could get ugly! The Buffalo Bills have the worst run defense in the NFL (giving up 176.9 yards per game on the ground) and have also given up the most points per game (32.4). However, if by chance their defense can show up and stop Houston they have a chance because offensively they fair pretty well. They are 3rd in rushing yards per game and 12 in points scored in large part thanks to their dynamic duo of running backs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson.
However, I expect that Houston runs the ball early and often and gets out to an early lead. This will make Buffalo play from behind and negate their running game, forcing them to pass. Houston can as they say “just pin their ears back and go after the QB” meaning they will send a lot of blitzes and rack up sacks. Although Ryan Fitzpatrick has only been sacked 8 times this season that could change big time on Sunday. Houston is a very balanced team but Matt Schaub can probably stay at home for this game because it will be all Arian Foster and the Texans defense.
Matt Schaub 15-20 210 yards TD
Arian Foster 30 carries 220 yards and 3 TD
Andre Johnson 4 catches 25 yards
Defense 2 sacks 4 turnovers
Texans win 40-21
