The Ravens are back on track after their win yesterday against the Browns. Here’s a quick run through of how the team performed.
Offense:
The Raven’s cut down on their passing attempts this week. Flacco completed 15 of his 24 throws for 154 yards and one touchdown to 2nd year Torrey Smith. Ray Rice saw more touches, running 25 times for 98 yards and a touchdown. One area the offense must improve on is third down conversions. The Ravens were only successful on 5 of their 14 third down conversions.
Defense:
The defense did a great job of protecting their red zone on Sunday. They forced the Browns to kick 5 field goals and gave the Browns a 0% success rate in the red zone. Ed Reed and Cary Williams each had an interception and Dannell Ellerbe had the only sack for the Ravens. Terrell Suggs had two assisted tackles and two unassisted.
Special Teams:
No surprise that Justin Tucker was perfect again. He connected from 43 yards out and tacked on two extra points. Sam Koch had 7 punts on the day, with a long of 54 and one landing inside the 20.
