Nick Foles – Andy Reid has already said that the Eagles will stick with Vick this next week, but conventional wisdom suggests that the Eagles won’t keep putting their faith in Vick the rest of the season. He’s remains worth stashing if you’re QB position is flimsy. Currently available in 96% of leagues.
Kevin Kolb – Another QB worth adding if you have questions at your QB position, and especially in 2 QB an deeper leagues. The Cardinals have just not been the same team with Skelton as they have been with Kolb. Currently available in 95% of leagues.
Marcel Reece – Both Darren McFadden and his backup, Mike Goodson, went down with high ankle sprains this week. And though the RB depth chart has Taiwan Jones listed as their RB3, it was Reece who received the most work. Reece is a better blocker and pass catcher than Jones and could be the biggest beneficiary from the injury to the DMC and Goodson. He recorded 8 receptions for 95 yards and a TD last week, so owners in PPR leagues should take notice, just remember that he also didn’t record a carry in the game either. Currently available in 94% of leagues.
Vick Ballard – With Donald Brown returning this week, there were a lot of people who dropped Ballard so he may be floating around on waivers. If he is it might be a good idea to grab him, as Donald Brown appeared to aggravate his surgically repaired knee. With the Colts playing on Thursday, it’s very possible that Brown sits out and Ballard is given the start against the Jags. Currently available in 66% of leagues.
Isaac Redman – Redman was the hot-hand this week for Pittsburgh running for 147 yards and a TD against the Giants. However, there is a chance that both Jonathan Dwyer and Rashard Mendenhall could return for Monday night’s game. So add Redman if you own a piece of the Steelers backfield and you can decide on Monday who you want to run, and if not adding him is best done with the intention of stashing as the backfield in Pittsburgh is going to be a quagmire once all 3 backs are healthy. Currently available in 47% of leagues.
Emmanuel Sanders – Antonio Brown had a high ankle sprain according to him after the game, then it was reported that he doesn’t, and now Mike Tomlin has said it is a “mild” high ankle sprain. Regardless, Brown is unlikely to play this next week, making Sanders the likely heir apparent to the WR2 spot. He’s worth adding if you need to replace Brown on your roster or need a filler for this week, until we know more about the extent of Brown’s injury. Currently available in 97% of leagues.
Dustin Keller – Before the BYE week, Keller had 7 receptions in back to back games for the Jets, and is probably the best receiving option the team has. He is Mark Sanchez’s favorite option in the passing game. Currently available in 63% of leagues.
Dwayne Allen – He had a season high 6 catches for 75 yards last week with Coby Fleener out. He is still worth adding if you’re in need of tight end help. Just remember that Fleener could be back as early as next week. Currently available in 89% of leagues.
Others on the radar: James Starks (available in 87%), Joique Bell (available in 80%), T.Y. Hilton (available in 90%), and Danario Alexander (available in 99%).
