Jets Soar Past Rams, 27-13

The New York Jets played efficient football on both sides of the ball and were able to get it done against the St. Louis Rams.
Mark Sanchez did exactly what he was supposed to do. He didn’t turn the ball over and was able to put his team in a position to score often. The starting QB completed 15 of 20 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown, while Tim Tebow was a spectator for most of the afternoon.
Bilal Powell showed why he’s considered by many to be a tough, hard-nosed running back. He scored the first two touchdowns of his career and accumulated 42 yards on 11 carries.
The Jets never let Sam Bradford get in a rhythm. He was constantly pressured and the Jets forced him to make some costly mistakes. Muhammad Wilkerson continued to be a beast in the backfield by forcing Bradford to fumble the ball. In addition, Safety Eric Smith chipped in with an interception.
The Jets looked sharp on Sunday. Sanchez seemed confident and was acting like a true No.1 quarterback. This was a much needed win as they prepare for a Thanksgiving night showdown against the New England Patriots.
