Rough day for the Rams

Posted By James Scoggins Jr. On Nov 19 2012 @ 9:46 am In All Sports | No Comments

The Rams seemed to have all the momentum going into Sundays game versus the Jets, but the tides quickly changed after their first drive. Mark Sanchez and the Jets got out of their funk and played a good football game against the Rams, who just got out played in Sundays game.

Sam Bradford, only got sacked once but was harassed just about every time he dropped back to pass. Bradford and the Rams passing effort never was able to find  rhythm, against the Jets and all of their multiple fronts. Steven Jackson had a solid game on the ground but failed to score a touchdown. That pass rushing, sack happy defense of the Rams has seem to go to sleep over the past five games. The defense was able to get three sacks on Sanchez but out side of that, Sanchez was able to stand in the pocket pretty comfortable.

Ultimately what lost the game for the Rams were the three turnovers committed by them. Despite the lack luster performance by the Rams they still could have won this game minus the Red Zone fumbles. Also the defense of the Rams have failed to cause a turnover in 5 weeks, which is currently the longest streak in the NFL. It is imperative for the defense to create turnovers, if the Rams hope to finish off their season on a high note. If not, what seemed to be a descent season will become another disappointing one for St Louis.
